LAW XIII: KICK-INS
When a ball is out of play, play is resumed with a kick-in. There are no throw-ins for the Bradford Beach Soccer League. The kick is to be taken from the spot it left the field of play. The ball can be placed on the line or behind it, so long as the ball is stationary. No part of the player taking the kick can be on the playing field. Doing so will result in a kick-in for the opposing team. Players from the opposing team must be at least 10 feet from the ball. The kick-in must be taken within five seconds of placing the ball. The ball is in play immediately after it is kicked or touched. A player taking a kick-in may not touch the ball again until it has touched another player. Doing so will result in the opposing team being awarded a kick-in.
